Saint Remy Bastion is one of the most famous postcards of Cagliari. It was built in the late 19th century to create a panoramic viewpoint over the city.
From Piazza Costituzione two wide staircases lead to the first floor which has a covered area (for exhibitions and bars), while other two staircases lead to a huge square with palm trees that offers a splendid view of the city.
The view of the city and the presence of two outdoor cafes make the Bastion one of places to be visited in Cagliari.
Moreover, on Sunday a handicraft market is organized in the square of the Bastion.
